Join us for a festive day (makes a wonderful Mother’s Day gift!) creating an heirloom cake topper for gatherings and celebrations with ceramicist Joan Cihak. Using terracotta clay and underglazes, field trippers will hand-build brightly colored blossoms and buds for the cake topper of their dreams. Cake topper in photo is on a 6” cake. Multiple cupcake toppers are another available option.

Pieces will be fired in kiln after class and then available the following week for pick up or local delivery. No prior experience necessary, all supplies and kiln firing included.

This fun and hands-on class will be capped at three students to allow for ample individual attention. A light lunch,refreshments and cake (!!!) will be served.
