macro-photography in nature april 6th

$95.00

Tune in and capture nature’s details while practicing macro-photography and mindfulness with nature photographer Jen Strongin. Field trippers will focus on the colors, forms and textures of spring flora while learning new techniques to capture the new growth of the season.

Please bring your camera and macro lens. Participants should have a basic working knowledge of their cameras.

Guests will explore using alternate angles, adjusting depth of field/ISO/Shutter speed, shooting through environmental elements and using lighting methods to capture details while creating mood and dimension. Macro photography is a wonderful way to help quiet the mind, get lost in the present moment and relieve the stress of our everyday lives. This field trip is limited to three guests.

Jen Strongin is a professional photographer, educator and naturalist. She finds great inspiration in the natural world both deep in the wild and on the edges of her urban habitat in Seattle.
