The MLK Jr. Day of Service on January 17th is a perfect opportunity to feel good giving back. Choose from a variety of volunteer opportunities in your neighborhood through Americorps or Green Seattle. Don’t want to be in a crowd? Small acts have large ripples - how can you make someone else’s life better today?
One of the greatest acts of service to our community is to get vaccinated. If you are still in need of a booster, the Seattle Sounders and the NW African American Museum will be hosting a booster shot clinic at Garfield High School Monday, January 17th 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
These are challenging times, but we will get through together.
